"Before" pictures: Junk room to guest/ craft room project

A lovely sunny morning to you all! I would like to share the "before" pictures of my latest project before it gets really under-way... presenting my messy box room! This room is the place that everything gets shoved away when  visitors are coming round, the the door remains closed at all times. Eek! However, the time has come that I want to transform it into a functional craft room for me to use (oh, ok, and also a guest room...!)

I have an extremely tight budget, and since the walls and floor are in an unloved state right now, almost all of my budget will be spent on hiring a good plasterer and laying a carpet. As a result, I will be attempting to give this room a total design makeover on very little money.

Over the next month or two, I hope to be able to present to you a real difference in this room- thanks to eBay, Gumtree, other thrifty sources and inspiration from Pinterest (what did we do before this website?) Watch this space...
